RKR Drivers Run Well at Route 66 Series: The latest Route 66 Series was hosted at the RKR home track of 61 Kartway, and the RKR CRG drivers ran VERY well. Eric Recker took home his first win of the season in the Yamaha Rookie class on his CRG Mini Max chassis running the KT100 with a 3 hole can. The competition level was high, and Eric put it all together at the right time to take the win. Morgan Schueler and Greg Hughes ran their Kali 32 chassis'with Rotax engines in the TaG Sr. class against Leopard's and Rok TT's with good results. A loose carb ended Greg's day prematurely in the feature just as the kart came in, but Greg posted his best times of the season and was moving the kart up when the mechanical failure occured. Morgan blasted out his best times of the year with HUGE improvements (.500+ faster than ever before) and ran in the middle of the pack all weekend long, showing that his CRG and Rotax will be in the hunt anytime he hits the track. Tony Neilson took the weekend off but will be back on the track this coming weekend at the Central States Challenge. Special thanks to Marshall Martin and Stacey from LSR for some CRG assisitance this past weekend in tuning the karts!

RKR Selected For CRG Prototype Testing: Recker Kart Racing was selected as one of only two CRG dealers in the nation to perform testing with the new CRG Kid Kart prototype chassis. With a stable of incredibly talented kid kart drivers at 61 Kartway, the RKR track of choice, testing was performed on May 10 with Thayne Chapin and Brady Dunn at the wheel. The results were outstanding as the track record was smashed by over 7 tenths on the new chassis. While other chassis dealers may claim to have the solution to a fast kid kart, there is no doubt that this chassis is the new breed of kid kart dominance. RKR Team Racing Kicks Off 2008 Season: The new stable of RKR drivers is kicking of the 2008 season with all new drivers on all new equipment. Greg Hughes (CRG / Rotax) leads the TaG pack on a 2008 Kali 32 chassis with a new 2008 Rotax, and will pilot a Kali 30 with an HPV in the very near future. Tony Neilson (CRG / Leopard) kicks of his season on a 2008 Black Star, while also testing two Kali 30's with his KT100 and HPV engines. And Eric Recker starts a new season in the Yamaha Jr. Sportsman class with his new CRG Mini Max chassis.
